My mother just never knew what to do. A few weeks prior to me stumbling on this web site, i had just under went a colonoscopy where 2 big polys had been taken out. | I was at the end of my rope literally. I didn't know what to do. I was hurting and having diarrhea every time I ate anything. I was losing more weight every day. I needed to leave for a trip that morning to have a procedure on my back. I woke up not feeling like going anywhere but back to bed. I googled help for my IBS and found this website! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! This has saved me, literally! It has taken me a few weeks to get my strength back and to where I can add a few things to my diet, but I think I'm going to live now!! I bought the Peppermint Oil capsules at CVS on my return trip as I dd some reading while I was gone and that I hope has helped me as well. I am drinking peppermint tea as well and drinking water more. I went from IBS-C to IBS-D just like that! Boom! I believe it was from stress and worry that did it! | I have ordered peppermint tea, fennel tea, and the soluable fiber. The peppermint tea is my favorite of the three. When I am having/had an attack it really does sooth my GI tract. It also calms me down so I can relax. The peppermint tastes great as well. I try to have at least one cup a day and I feel it has made a difference in my symptoms and pain. I will be buying more. | I have ordered both the peppermint and fennel teas. I really enjoy the peppermint and notice symptom improvement when I have a cup. The fennel tea does not have the best taste (in my opinion). It is similar to black licorice and I feel it does not soothe away symptoms as much as the peppermint tea. I hope this is a helpful review for those on the fence, I would always choose peppermint if I had to pick between the two. | |||||
