| Typically, just before I start my period, I have a lot of bloating, and just tons of discomfort. This tea seemed to have prevented all of that discomfort. True test will be next month. | I have tried the Fennel Tea only once, didn't get thrilled over it. The mint tea is great, have used it several times (I found that the tea bag can be used SEVERAL times before being disposed of). I have not tried the hot/cold packs yet, and am still working on the books. I have gotten pretty well through the 'IBS year' book, but have not used the IBS Cook Book yet. I have been using a Breville juicer for my breakfast (after my Acacia drink), eating a fairly normal lunch (mid afternoon), and many times a fruit smoothie in the evening, if anything. So far, things are coming along much better -- thanks for your site and products! | |||||

| It is too early to tell; I am still having a lot of trouble, but am a dual diagnosis person: Celiac and IBS. Along with the fact that an erroneous dx in an emergency room 20+ years ago resulted in a 4-days later life-saving surgery for a bowel obstruction; though I'd been told I had the 'flu' and was sent home. | For years I was told by doctors to eat fiber, broccoli, califlower, celery, apples, etc. For 20+ years I looked for every restroom in every building I entered. When I was 62, my mother told me her father had always peeled apples and called the skins poison. I was intriqued. I came across some literature by Heather and she said don't eat the skins. So I read on. I realized I had IBS. And I learned about soluble and insoluble fiber. I tried the acacia powder. It took 1 month but it changed my life. I told my doctor and he apologized for telling me to gorge on the wrong fiber. He said, "We didn't know." Well, if one has retired smart you dwell on the positive, not past mistakes. | I can't say whether these made any difference for my bowel issues, which are more related to shortened bowels from past Crohn's resections than they are to IBD. Having to take the pills on an empty stomach was a problem as was the mild indigestion that came with them and the peppermint flavored belches that stuck with me for a good hour at least. On the plus side, there were no other bad side effects. But I didn't really notice any good effects either. Several days in I experienced my annual severe abdominal pain episode and decided to stop taking these pills just in case they played a role in triggering it. I was really enthused about these after reading all the great reviews. It's back to the drawing board in my case. | |||||

| Before finding Heather's website, "hopeless" would be an accurate way to describe my life with IBS. Feeling trapped in a body that could give me such unbearable pain and a mind that seemed to betray me. The safest place for me was in my own home, near my own bathroom. There was no need then to fear and of course, I then felt at my best. But as soon as I had to leave for either work or shopping or anything else, my stomach would clench and send me running. Shopping became completely unenjoyable and my mind was always on where the nearest bathroom was. Eating out was something we rarely did because...well you know. What if??? I've suffered this way ever since the birth of our youngest child, 14 years ago. There have been times where its been worse and times when it seemed like it was gone. However, the last many years it's been very present and exceptionally painful; to the point of feeling faint from it. So terrifying, I can't even explain it. But for the first time, after reading the testimonials, I realized I'm not alone!!! This alone has helped to bring a type of relief. The diet change has been huge, the fiber amazing, and both the peppermint and fennel teas are something I enjoy immensely throughout the day! The peppermint capsules, unfortunately I seem unable to take as they cause heartburn no matter how or when I take them. That's ok though, the other products along with the diet have been doing the trick! As far as my mind stress goes, I truly believe that as more time goes without an attack (there has only been one in well over a month!!) the more my mind will relax and not get worked up when it's time to head out the door. I'm so excited it's hard to explain! | Tea made with the fennel teabags is much weaker than I thought it would be. I find myself using two teabags each time, which means I'm going through the tea very quickly. On an unexpected note, my urine smells like fennel all the time now, and I was quite alarmed before I realized what was causing it. I can't comment on the peppermint caps, because I haven't been using them long enough to see an effect. The non-recipe parts of the book were the most useful parts for me; as a vegetarian with a gluten sensitivity, most of the suggested recipes would wreak havoc on my system. I did really appreciate the science and the eating tips at the beginning of the book. | |

| I've noticed with just a 1/4 teaspoon on my cereal/yoghurt each morning, my stool has shape and I don't have cramps - no more painful runny poops...no more urgent calls to the loo while out and about....still have to "hurry" but obviously, just a little soluble fibre has done the trick.....I'll need to order more before the end of August to take with me on my travels. | I have been taking Citrucel for abt 14yrs. But still having the Big D for abt 15 years . So I decided to try this Product hoping it would help. Even tho I was taking 4 Citracel a day. I started out with 1/2 tsp. after trying for a week this product made be very uncomfortable, cramps ,bloated & gas .... So gave up on this and when back to the old citrucel again. Really wish it would have work for me . But no luck. But am glad it works for some people.... Wish there was a miracle pill for this thing they call IBS!! Maybe someday. | |||||

| When I order the powder, it arrives always in a week or 9 days. This time I waited three weeks. I think this is not your fault, but maybe the delay was caused by the import office. I could not see at the packet that it was there nevertheless. I never ordered two ones till now, that may be the reason. | |||||
