| I suffer from IBS-D. For many years, my symptoms were well-controlled by medication and careful eating. However, when I developed a serious side effect from the medication and had to discontinue, careful eating did not alone control my symptoms. Peppermint just made me sicker, so I was looking for something that might work. I decided to give the Tummy Fiber a try. The results have been mostly wonderful, though to be honest, I do still have an occasional flare. (Who doesn't, with IBS?) I find the travel sticks to be the most convenient, though not necessarily the most economical. I am stabilized at one packet a day. I find oatmeal the best thing in which to dissolve the fiber. One small complaint: It does have a tendency to form tiny clumps, more noticeable in liquids than in a thicker moist food. I recommend the Acacia Tummy Fiber. | |

| I had tried fiber supplement pills before many years ago and found it completely unhelpful, but the lowest dose of this (1/2 tsp BID) had an instant effect on reducing my diarrhea. Although I still have other symptoms, I haven't had an issue with loose stools since and haven't had to increase the dose so this supply will last me a LONG time. So pleased. I will say I do have issues getting it to dissolve completely in beverages no matter what I try, I often put it in soups or even condiments. But because it's tasteless not dissolving completely isn't a huge issue for me, I just end up with a small clump to swallow every now and then. | |

| I have been using this in conjunction with the acacia fiber and have definitely seen a reduction in my symptoms. The fiber has essentially eliminated my diarrhea, which has been wonderful. The peppermint oil capsules do help, but I still have some symptoms - especially with gas and the associated pain. Perhaps over time I will see more of a difference. I do have issues with acid reflux and had issues with peppermint capsules before. These do occasionally give me some heartburn (even when taken on an empty stomach with limited fluids at least an hour before eating) but it isn't nearly as severe as others I have tried and doesn't always give me heartburn, just sometimes. | |||||

| I have been very pleased with the Tummy Fiber so far. Customer service was excellent and it arrived very quickly. I have been using in for about three weeks, gradually increasing the amount I use daily - as indicated in the directions. Though my IBS-D is fairly mild, I can already tell a difference in that my episodes are less frequent and my stools are not as loose in general. It is easy to take and has been easy on my sensitive system. I would definitely recommend this product to other IBS-D sufferers. I used to use Benefiber, but am noticing much more symptom relief with the Tummy Fiber. So glad I found your site! | |

| I love this product. When you order the jumbo teabags you get something more the size of tub teabags, like the bags filled with aromatic herbs used for soaking in the bath. Super x-tra strong peppermint, and very soothing to the stomach. I usually use twice the water for brewing, and sometimes drink it iced in warm weather with a touch of stevia. | I've been using Heather's Acacia Powder for years and it's wonderful--has helped me immensely! This was the first time I've used the travel packs. I loved being able to tear them open at the notch easily. They are very handy to throw in your bag/purse and then you're all set. My ONLY issue with them was they only hold 1 tsp of powder per tube. I take 2 TABLESPOONS of powder in the morning and 2 TABLESPOONS at supper. So for me I needed to use 6 tubes in the morning and 6 more for supper. I wish you could make these travel packs that would hold 1 tablespoon each for ppl like me who take a higher dose. (in addition to these 1 tsp tubes for those using a lesser amount) Then I would have only have to use 2 tubes each time instead of 6. Also, because I take such a high dose it was kinda expensive to use the travel tubes BUT the convenience it gave me by not having to drag along my big container of powder and my tablespoon and my knife to level it off was well worth the expense to me! I will definitely use these again next time I fly somewhere! | |

| Please make the wheat, Gluten, soy, and yeast and nut free. While IBS,doesn't cause gluten issues,I do have both IBS and gluten sensitivity and probably others do as well. My grandmother died of celiac disease and I don't want to get celiac disease so I can't take the peppermint capsules I bought because they are not gluten free. I also can't use most of the recipes because they are not gluten and soy free. I can't have soy because it makes too much estrogen in your body. You probably need to advise people that IBS might not be their only proble, and that some of the foods that are suggested can cause other problems. I am enjoying the fennel tea though. | |||||

| Having just been diagnosed with IBS (relatively late in life, at 63), I have been recommended your tummy tea by my American Godmother - and have enjoyed it when staying with her. The peppermint capsules have been a great help. I take one first thing in the morning before breakfast and it calms my tummy. I'm not sure how useful the book will be, but it makes an interesting read. My IBS seems to be stress rather than diet related. | |

| Acacia Senegal is all new to me but after trying all the medical advice and products with no results, I sent for the travel packets to try. Boy oh boy what a difference within the first two days. I have tossed all others and using one packet in the morning and enjoying no stomach problems the rest of the day. The best part is I can easily take them with me wherever I go. | I've been using tummy fiber powder for a while, and was doing pretty well. Then had relapse in June after taking antibiotics for a sinus infection, and haven't been the same...tummy fiber and peppermint capsules not working as much as I would like, but will continue to use and see if i can get back on track. | |||||
