| I have been suffering with IBS for years and it has only gotten worse with my increase in stress in my life which is not going away. What I didn't realize was that I could control the pain and constipation by controlling my diet which is very difficult but I am managing and with the use of the Heather's fiber product. | I was very excited to try the Tummy Fiber and very hopeful that it would help me. However, it has not worked for me. First let me tell you that I have been diagnosed with IBS and have also been diagnosed with Gastroparesis. I do not have diarrhea, if anything, I have constipation (or lack of movement since my stomach only empties every 5 hours). I have a very healthy diet and eat very little at a time. When I read on your website that the Tummy Fiber would help with diarrhea OR constipation I was thrilled. I started with 1 teaspoon twice a day. It slowed things down even more, bulked up my stool, actually making my situation worse. And yes, I am trying to follow your soluble, insoluble, stay away from trigger foods plan. I do everything I know to do and nothing helps. I feel so helpless. Nothing works, nothing helps, nothing makes it better. :( | |||||

| I drink 2-3 cups of this tea a day, either using tea bags or if I'm feeling economical, the loose tea in a tea ball. It works wonderfully for gas which is one of my big problems. I drink it with or just after meals and it does the trick. It is very fresh and flavorful (much more so than any fennel tea I've bought elsewhere) and there is a lot of fennel seed packed into each tea bag (also more than other brands of fennel tea). | |

| I got the Starter Kit after trying the Peppermint oil to find out more about what I was experiencing. Both books give great information anyone can use to change their eating habits and learn to live with IBS. I have managed my discomfort finally and feel I can travel without the worries. | I ordered this product because I was experiencing constipation due to newly prescribed medication. I did not want to start the merry go round of stool softeners and laxatives. | I dry mix 1 tablespoon of acacia powder,two Tabs of ground chia, an overloaded tsp of carob powder and a tsp or bit more of gelatin to help firm up my bowels.I'm hoping the mixture is also a bit effective with my interstitial cystitis. I'll be ordering more as this controls the runs and the cramping. Wish we had something that cures it, rather than just bandaid it. Thankyou Heather. | |||||

| Peppermint Loose Tea | |
| I love the peppermint loose tea. When you open the bag, it smells luscious and you can hardly wait to make some tea! The taste is loads stronger and fresher than store bought teas, and works faster to calm the internal storm in my innards. I have a plastic container with tight fitting lid that I pour the loose tea into when it arrives. It stays fresh for months, if it lasts that long! I would definately recommend this tea over store bought teas. | |

| The packets are great for airline travel. Avoids having a zip-loc bag of "white powder" to alarm the TSA! I'd like to see larger packet size, though. Currently, 1 tsp. It would be great if you offered a 1 tbs size packet as well. It would mean less packets to carry along. | |

| By the time I was on the tenth page of "First Year with IBS" I was ready to cry. Finally, someone who could relate to the blinding pain I'm experiencing on a daily basis. I have been given more information on my "syndrome" from these two books than I ever got from my GP or Gastroenterologist who just said "eat more fibre". I'm so grateful for this site. I've been combining the tummy fibre, the new knowledge I now have and a product call IBS-Plex (peppermint, marshmallow root & L Glutamine) and for the first time in 2 years I haven't had an attack in 2 whole weeks. Granted I've had an attack every day for the last 4 days but I'm attributing that to the stress of my father having a heart attack last week. Otherwise, I'm thrilled to know I'm not the only suffering from this, but given how prevalent it is, I'm shocked at the lack of attention from doctors and scientists. | I have been taking drugs for a rare disease and had stomach problems for the drugs. Instructed by Dr to take nexeum.Started taking acacia fiber daily and have two cups of tea mixed fennel and peperment nightly. It was January when I took my last Nexuem and my stomach is great now in April. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone with a stomach problem, constipation, etc.. or believe they are glutin intolerant should try this product.5 star all the way. | Solution for Dissolving Powder, the acacia helps me daily | |
| I read some recent reviews about the product being not as refined as our usual powder. I have used it daily in my coffee for several years and my previous shipment had a different texture to the powder. To solve the temporary issue, I put the powder in 1/3rd of my coffee. Next I stir it with a fork for less than a minute until I see it dissolving. My last step is to use my frother at an angle on the top of the coffee for less than a minute until the mixture is completely dissolved. It also makes a nice little froth on the top of my coffee as you would have in a latte. At that point I fill up my coffee cup and life is good. | I'm Canadian and I shipped the Tummy Fiber to my dad's USA vacation destination. I was concerned that the order might not arrive during his one week in the USA so I reached out to the customer service team at Heather's Tummy Care to inquire about the timing. I was super touched that I got a personal message back from Heather herself and I was really impressed with her customer service response. She ensured that my order arrived within the time window that it needed to and her message to me was full of genuine kindness and caring. One of the things that I like about Heather's Acacia Senegal fiber is that it's been tested for salicylates and it has been identified as low salicylate. This information is important to me because I have salicylate sensitivity. When I placed this order I was so happy that Heather finally had Tummy Fiber back in stock. Unfortunately when the order arrived I discovered that this first batch of fiber was milled to a finer consistency than it usually is and it's more difficult to dissolve in liquids. The letter that came with the order apologized for this situation and said that it would be a temporary change in the product. Given everything that Heather has had to go through this year in terms of sourcing this product, I feel that the altered consistency is a small sacrifice to have to deal with! I look forward to ordering more Tummy Fiber in the future, and I'm sure by then it will be back to its normal texture. | |
