| By the time I was on the tenth page of "First Year with IBS" I was ready to cry. Finally, someone who could relate to the blinding pain I'm experiencing on a daily basis. I have been given more information on my "syndrome" from these two books than I ever got from my GP or Gastroenterologist who just said "eat more fibre". I'm so grateful for this site. I've been combining the tummy fibre, the new knowledge I now have and a product call IBS-Plex (peppermint, marshmallow root & L Glutamine) and for the first time in 2 years I haven't had an attack in 2 whole weeks. Granted I've had an attack every day for the last 4 days but I'm attributing that to the stress of my father having a heart attack last week. Otherwise, I'm thrilled to know I'm not the only suffering from this, but given how prevalent it is, I'm shocked at the lack of attention from doctors and scientists. | I have been taking drugs for a rare disease and had stomach problems for the drugs. Instructed by Dr to take nexeum.Started taking acacia fiber daily and have two cups of tea mixed fennel and peperment nightly. | I started with 1/2 teaspoon twice a day dose (once in the morning and then after dinner) and within the first week I was starting to become regular and noticing a lot less gas. I tried to up the dose gradually but I think it may have been too much because I had diarrhea, unless that was something unrelated. I stayed at the 1/2 teaspoon dose and it keeps me regular but would like to increase it to help a little more with the constipation. I missed a dose or two during the past week and I had horrible trapped gas pains...needless to say I will not miss a dose again! I have had gastric bypass surgery and this stuff really helps me with controlling gas, because its a big problem afterwards. My "bad" IBS days went from 2-3 a week to not even once a week, more like 1 bad day out of 3 weeks. This product is awesome! | |

| I was a little skeptical about these products in the beginning, just because I had never heard about them before. But being that no other product had helped so far, I decided to try it. I am very happy I did. The fiber and the peppermint capsules work wonders. First, it has helped eliminate the annoying pain in my gut that I used to get almost every time I had a meal. It used to be so painful that I couldn't walk straight sometimes. Second, going to the bathroom has become very easy. Third, after using this kit, I rarely see my stomach bloated. I was always bloated before. Finally, I really liked the pamphlet that comes with the kit. The pamphlet has a list of trigger foods, foods with insoluble fiber (which should be consumed but never on an empty stomach), and foods with soluble fiber. This quick reference has also helped me manage my IBS symptoms. Thank you so much for these products! | |

| I am loving these products. My favorite is the Fennel tea and the cook book. I have found some great recipes and great information in the cook book. With some of my new found knowledge I have been able to change some family favorites into better meals for me with just a few adjustments. I am not sure about the peppermint tablets just yet. | I mix it with other teas to get some variety, just make sure it is decaf tea. I also add a peppermint capsule to my teapot and make a large pot of fennel-peppermint tea, as I find the peppermint easier to digest this way, its very strong but you get used to it and there is no burping up of peppermint all day! Overall I have found these products life changing, my pain is substantially reduced, I feel supported and educated and I am not lost in wondering what to eat or not. The only product I haven't used much is the tummy fiber, I need to incorporate it more in my daily routine. Thanks again Heather! | |

I have been using Acacia Senegal Tummy fiber pouches for nearly 6 years now and take it 4 times a day before each meal and just before bed-time as recommended. I know it is keeping me stable.
