| I have used this product for a few months and it's effective for my type of IBS, which is the constipation type. I cannot use any other fiber supplement as they all cause gas and/or too loose stools, and pain. The only think with Acacia fiber is you have to start slowly and build up to your own comfort level, and then stay there. good luck! | |

| both teas taste good. the fennel is especially tasty - like licorice, like liquid twizzlers. but I'm not sure how effective they are, especially in controlling bloat and gas. the D is more under control, however I am also taking a sequestrant medication to help eliminate that particular symptom, so I can't give the peppermint or the fennel an unqualified "thumbs-up". | Acacia Fiber makes a huge difference. | |
| For a few years I took Acacia Fiber mixed in water. For some reason, that makes no sense, I quit using it last Fall. I had a very difficult winter digestively but couldn't figure out why. A couple of months ago it occurred to me to start taking the Acacia Fiber again. Now I sprinkle it directly on my food and am way more satisfied with the results, which are amazing. This fiber is not just for IBS sufferers. I gave up my gall-bladder 20 years ago and struggled for a long, long time with bile acid diarrhea. | I like this better than metamucil because I can add it to drinks, and because it doesn't have to be gulped down before it thickens, and because the texture of the stool is better after it goes through me. Also, the little remainders of metamucil in my glass, put into the dishwasher, clogs up the dishwasher filter. I wonder what it does to my gut? | |

| After years of IBS-D, trying various products & probiotics advertised to "fix" my gut, I stumbled upon Heather's Acacia fiber. I quit taking everything else and followed the directions on this product to start slowly, increasing the dose gradually until I found the right amount for my body. I gradually started feeling better and better.
