I stopped these supplements as soon as I began the acai fiber. The acai powder has been working great and produces consistent results. Excellent product. | Thirteen months ago, I was in the hospital in Chelsea, MI for 11 days. I had taken my Acacia Fiber with me, which was confiscated, and then doled out to me twice a day by the nursing staff. Upon hearing it was to help control IBS, a few of the nurses became quite interested, as THEY suffer from IBS. I found myself to be quite the IBS guru. | I think the Acacia Fiber is wonderful but I'm concerned that Heather's focus on soluble vs non-soluble fiber does not consider the thousands of people now allergic to genetically modified food, especially wheat/grains. | Both the teas are great after meals to counteract IBS symptoms from eating animal fats and deep fried foods. If you have acid reflux conditions or entrapped gas, the peppermint capsules work better than charcoal, simethicone, or anything else...at least for me. With these herbs, I can eat fast foods, prime rib, dim sum, etc. if I don't overdo it. Plus, the fennel tea is a good diuretic. So with this stuff, if your IBS is not as bad as Heather's, you can have some fun feasting. | |

| I take a T. in juice or tea before every meal. I mix it up in a insulated mug when going places. My doctor also has me mixing a probiotic with it. This plus taking Pancreaze before each meal. I've suffered with IBS-D almost all my life alternating with IBS-C. Sometimes I've gone months and years with out an episode and then something would set me off. Usually fresh fruits and vegetables plus stress. Still have to be careful what I eat...not fresh fruits and vegetables, watch my fats, etc.....getting plenty of rest. Getting tired seems to be a factor. When I had my gallbladder out about 14 years ago my IBS has been harder to maintain. I had taken Metamucil for years, switched to Citrucil, before finding your product online. I've used your fiber, teas, and your book. Right now I'm doing better than I have in two years. I've only had two episodes this month. Not sure what caused them. Oh, yes. I have used the hypnosis cd (3 times)...I forget the name...Dr. Michael seems to ring a bell. | I have suffered with IBS-C since 1978. After enduring all the medical tests, trying every new Rx, modifying my diet, etc. I had just about given up on finding relief. Who knew something as simple as fennel tea could make such a difference in how I feel and LOOK! This is an amazing product and I am never without it. | I am 65 yrs old and began diarrhea in late June and the condition continued without ceasing until early Oct. Gastroenterologists did all the test and I was told I had IBS. The only thing they gave me was immodium or pepto bismol. I lost 17 lbs, became anemic, my total proteins dropped normal, and I felt that I might die. I ordered the Acacia fiber and the diet book. Slowly my diarrhea stopped and I began to be able to eat food again. Before I was using my stored fat to supply energy for my body. I lost from 130 to 113 lbs. One NP told me that basically there was nothing wrong with me. At the end of my ordeal, they did do an IBD panel and some immune markers came back positive. It was them revealed to me, when my colonscopy was performed that I had an area of inflammatiom, but it did not fit the textbook picture. All in all, I feel the medical community let me down medically and I am so thankful I found Heather's website. I continue on the fiber and the recipes. | |

| I've tried about 30 days with all possibilities (1 hour before breakfast, 10 minutes before breakfast,etc..), but there is no difference. The only thing that makes difference is diet... but for me, I can eat milk product without crisis. Accupuncture have made a big diffence too, 15 years ago, I had to take about 10 imodium per day, because after each meal I had diarea, now it happens about once per week, mostly when I go to restaurant. So I think it's mostly stress who gives me diahrea. sorry for my english. and I am happy that this product help people who have this problem, but for me, it makes no difference. bye bye, I'm near Montréal. :-) | |||||

| I bought 3 pouches because I have confidence but I lost money because I've used only one bag. Before I take it, I had one crisis per week or 2 week, but after I began to take this, I had crises every 2 days, and I take it exactly as described. Now, since I had stopped to take it, I feel better, one crises per week...mostly when I go to restaurant, so I suppose it's because of stress. But I'm happy that this product works for some people who have diarea...but for me, only diet can help...but I can drink milk and cheese without problem (I drink about 2 litres of skim milk per day) but many vegetables and fruits I cannot eat because right after I have crise. Sorry for my bad english, I'm francophone of Montréal, Canada, bye bye | |||||

| Solution for Dissolving Powder, the acacia helps me daily | |
| I read some recent reviews about the product being not as refined as our usual powder. I have used it daily in my coffee for several years and my previous shipment had a different texture to the powder. To solve the temporary issue, I put the powder in 1/3rd of my coffee. Next I stir it with a fork for less than a minute until I see it dissolving. My last step is to use my frother at an angle on the top of the coffee for less than a minute until the mixture is completely dissolved. It also makes a nice little froth on the top of my coffee as you would have in a latte. At that point I fill up my coffee cup and life is good. | I'm Canadian and I shipped the Tummy Fiber to my dad's USA vacation destination. I was concerned that the order might not arrive during his one week in the USA so I reached out to the customer service team at Heather's Tummy Care to inquire about the timing. I was super touched that I got a personal message back from Heather herself and I was really impressed with her customer service response. She ensured that my order arrived within the time window that it needed to and her message to me was full of genuine kindness and caring. One of the things that I like about Heather's Acacia Senegal fiber is that it's been tested for salicylates and it has been identified as low salicylate. This information is important to me because I have salicylate sensitivity. When I placed this order I was so happy that Heather finally had Tummy Fiber back in stock. Unfortunately when the order arrived I discovered that this first batch of fiber was milled to a finer consistency than it usually is and it's more difficult to dissolve in liquids. The letter that came with the order apologized for this situation and said that it would be a temporary change in the product. Given everything that Heather has had to go through this year in terms of sourcing this product, I feel that the altered consistency is a small sacrifice to have to deal with! I look forward to ordering more Tummy Fiber in the future, and I'm sure by then it will be back to its normal texture. | |
