| I dont know what this product does but I can say that IT WORKS! I used it for the first time while on vacation. We ate out every night of the week while we were away. I always have stomach issues when eating out at restaurants but I literally had not one IBS symptom the whole week! | Dear Friends, I clicked inadvertently before I wrote my review, so all you got was an "Okay, I guess." My real review went something like this--and a little more: It's a little too early to tell, as the diarrhea is not under control yet, however I'm just on my first "Big Kahuna" kit. I have great hope because you have all the information I found--and much more--that is counter to what doctors told me over the decades I have had IBS, severe lactose intolerance, and diverticulitis. I have changed my diet, but I do have great hope. I just ordered my second pound container of acacia. I hope all this works as the medical profession has completely failed me, and the diarrhea and other symptoms rule my life. I'm grateful I have nothing life threatening, but my quality of life is still affected very negatively. | I love the idea of these little caps but I do have regular issues with heartburn & these seem to make matters worse for me & I hate it because I don't have any issues with the peppermint tea. Love that as well as the fennel tea. My issues are with both C, D & urgency. Definitely painful stomach issues... it sort of felt like my intestines were always being twisted or tied up in a knot. Since I found Heather's products, things have improved significantly but I realize now that maintenance is the key. I have changed my diet, I drink Heather's tea's everyday but cannot seem to make these peppermint caps work for me... Do I need them? Maybe not but if it could possibly help with issues relating to urgency, I'm open to trying them. I have 3 unopened bottles & one that I have tried & tried to incorporate using all the available tips/tricks so as to not upset my issues with heartburn & reflux. Maybe I need to return them & just be satisfied with the fact that the daily teas, fiber & modifications to my diet have vastly improved my situation. | |||||

| I do quite a bit of air travel and had wondered about how to take my soluable fiber with me and not raise questions. A baggie full of white powder through security- not a good idea- So am very glad to have the travel packs-just went through security with them last week with no problems. | Back in May I ordered the peppermint oil capsules and the one-pound bag of tummy fiber, and I am SO glad I did! Since I've been using those products I haven't had the gut-wrenching pain that had plagued me for sixteen years. I can't tell you what a relief it is. I hadn't been sure that the pain was from IBS, so I was going back and forth from my gastroenterologist to y gynecologist; I believe your products have saved me from an unnecessary hysterectomy!! | I received your product in a timely manner. For the record I have been suffering with IBS for about 4 years now. I suffer from really bad acid reflux. I tried your product as soon as I received it. The product gave me no satisfication actually it made my symptoms worse. It did not prevent the pain, cramping,gas or bloating. | |||||

| Solution for Dissolving Powder, the acacia helps me daily | |
| I read some recent reviews about the product being not as refined as our usual powder. I have used it daily in my coffee for several years and my previous shipment had a different texture to the powder. To solve the temporary issue, I put the powder in 1/3rd of my coffee. Next I stir it with a fork for less than a minute until I see it dissolving. My last step is to use my frother at an angle on the top of the coffee for less than a minute until the mixture is completely dissolved. It also makes a nice little froth on the top of my coffee as you would have in a latte. At that point I fill up my coffee cup and life is good. | I'm Canadian and I shipped the Tummy Fiber to my dad's USA vacation destination. I was concerned that the order might not arrive during his one week in the USA so I reached out to the customer service team at Heather's Tummy Care to inquire about the timing. I was super touched that I got a personal message back from Heather herself and I was really impressed with her customer service response. She ensured that my order arrived within the time window that it needed to and her message to me was full of genuine kindness and caring. One of the things that I like about Heather's Acacia Senegal fiber is that it's been tested for salicylates and it has been identified as low salicylate. This information is important to me because I have salicylate sensitivity. When I placed this order I was so happy that Heather finally had Tummy Fiber back in stock. Unfortunately when the order arrived I discovered that this first batch of fiber was milled to a finer consistency than it usually is and it's more difficult to dissolve in liquids. The letter that came with the order apologized for this situation and said that it would be a temporary change in the product. Given everything that Heather has had to go through this year in terms of sourcing this product, I feel that the altered consistency is a small sacrifice to have to deal with! I look forward to ordering more Tummy Fiber in the future, and I'm sure by then it will be back to its normal texture. | |
