| I just started on Acacia Fiber again. I used it a few years ago and quit. Recently I had a flare up of Diarrhea. My Dr. wanted me on insoluble fiber but I knew I could not use that so got my papers out and re-read the part about your soluable fiber. I ordered a can and 2 boxes of the Travel Packs. | This along with the tummy fiber has done wonders for me. I accidently hit enter on my review of the tummy fiber but it is the most help in controlling my bowel movements. I only take two teaspoons a day. I don't know if I need to take more or not. The peppermint caps also help a lot but only take them before a meal. I was cramping one evening and took one without a meal and I felt like I was made out of peppermint. They are strong. I tried another product that was very expensive from another website and it did nothing at all. I am glad I found this. | |

| This book was published in 2000. So many things have changed since then. For example, she advocates a lot of soy products. Soy is highly allergenic and also contains antinutrients that block mineral absorption. I wouldn't touch unfermented soy with a billion-foot pole. She also advocates processed foods, such as breakfast cereal (with soy milk). These are just a few of the things that alarmed me about the book. Do some research on it. | |||||

I do transfer the pouch to the can but, all of it doesn't fit in there with the plastic cover over it. | I've been taking a teaspooon full of soluble fiber in a Tblsp of applesauce before I eat anything for 4 years - I also carry it in my purse. It's easy to sprinkle on solid food if need be or stirred into a beverage (it has no flavor). Unless I eat a lot of fat OR I'm especially stressed out, I lead a completely normal life. If I start to get diarrhea, I just up my dose of 1 teaspoon full till it calms down (which is very soon). | |

| This works better for me than the anti-nausea pills bc it's immediate. Sometimes nausea sneaks up on me and the tea is what I reach for. There are also times where I can't take more nausea pills and this and the peppermint pills work amazingly well. I don't do well with nausea so this has made life so much easier. I take it everywhere. Peppermint Tra is easy to find, but not this peppermint tea. This is a medicinal food, not just tea. | |
