| I have been using this fiber product for six years, as originally recommended by the medical staff at John Bastyr. I developed gut issues at the same time I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes. I was prescribed Metformin HCL, which did wonders for my numbers, but also aggravated my gut issue problem, where problems occurred in the middle of the night. With a change in diet (no milk or cheese) and taking the fiber twice a day, it has helped me control my issues with the colon. I used to be able to obtain Heather's Tummy Fiber at Vitamin Life in Downtown Redmond, but they closed the retail store and switched to purely online sales. I'm just glad I can obtain the fiber directly from you! :-) | |

| I have been using this for several months and although it has helped somewhat my final review is still out. I am still have bouts of diarrhea and bloating. Not sure if this is because I have microscopic colitis and IBS although I really haven't had a doctor diagnose IBS. I think I will continue to use though and maybe get some more tests to get a definitive diagnosis. Fennel Tea and Peppermint oil are helpful also! | I wish there was some sort of customer support where I could ask specific questions and have them answered. I have IBS-C and take large amounts of Magnesium (Calm) daily (twice a day) in order to be able to have bowel movements. I'm trying to wean myself off of Calm while at the same time increase my use of the tummy fiber. I'm struggling to do this successfully and would love to get support on it. I don't know if the tummy fiber can work well for me. I used it successfully in the past, but my IBS has gotten a lot worse since then. I haven't had a normal bowel movement in many years now. I'm hoping the tummy fiber can change that, but even though I gradually increased the amount, I got increased bloating and gas, so I had to back off again. I know I need more than what I'm taking (2 tsp. twice a day), but even with increasing it slowly while decreasing the magnesium, I've had a hard time of it. I'm going to keep trying, though, and will hopefully have success with the product (if I do, I will either change my review or write a new one). I have two more containers of the tummy fiber, which should be enough for me to see if it will work for me or not. | |||||
