Have been using Heather's Fiber for over 15 years to help with IBS and assorted GI/bladder issues from autoimmune diseases. It's consistently of excellent quality, the price is worth every penny, and the shipping is always super-speedy. It's a no-brainer to use. I hope it's always available because, with the wonderful surprises of chronic illness, having a steady service and product is one less additional stress to deal with. So convenient when traveling
I've used these little packets several times now when I travel and will be away from home for days. They can be opened without scissors easily, they have 1 tsp in each packet, they are small and don't take up much space. They are much nicer in a suitcase or carryon instead of the big container I use at home. Plus, I don't have to worry about the container getting jostled around and possibly getting jarred open and then have the acacia all over everything, not to mention the extra space the big container takes up. I can easily tear open how ever many packets I need/use per use and pour them into the small opening of a water bottle as I'm on the go if need be. Shake it up good and drink it down all while still on my way somewhere! So convenient and handy! And full of the same great quality of Senegal Fiber! Love using them!

Game changing life saver
For the last 3 years I have been trying to figure my gut out...new 'getting older' food allergies, IBS (maybe?), finding the right fiber (who knew?)...I dont eat enough food or fiber...and after trying a few different Heather products for other symptoms (that are great) I tried the Acacia. My doctor actually recommended this specific fiber to me for IBS. I was amazed at how much better I tolerated it over any other fiber supplement. I sprinkle it over or into many food and don't even notice it's there; even on tacos! I mix it into cereal, soup, stew...anything with enough moisture to soak it up and never know it existed. Very helpful for malabsorption syndrome
I have IBS and malabsorption from having a portion of my ileum resected. I've found that just 1 tsp. of Heather's Fiber twice a day usually will prevent diarrhea. Finding the right dose is the key. If I take too much, it can be constipating, too little and the diarrhea returns. It seems to work well for me. It does take patience to find the correct amount that works, though.
