Manu unsuccessful fiber experiences
Have had IBS D for decades. Morphed into IBS Mixed after Covid and then volvulus correction surgery. Psyllium, methcellulose, and polycarbonate after many, many failed trials and feeling dismissed by family doc and slightly by GI group led me back to Heather. Wheat dextram didn't seem worth trying and I used the peppermint caps on and off over time. And yes, no bloating, no excessive gas or abdominal discomfort. Can add to liquids and I can add to yogurt and rice dishes, no problem! Sorry I waited so long to try it. Thanks!

I'm Canadian and I shipped the Tummy Fiber to my dad's USA vacation destination. I was concerned that the order might not arrive during his one week in the USA so I reached out to the customer service team at Heather's Tummy Care to inquire about the timing. I was super touched that I got a personal message back from Heather herself and I was really impressed with her customer service response. She ensured that my order arrived within the time window that it needed to and her message to me was full of genuine kindness and caring. One of the things that I like about Heather's Acacia Senegal fiber is that it's been tested for salicylates and it has been identified as low salicylate. This information is important to me because I have salicylate sensitivity. When I placed this order I was so happy that Heather finally had Tummy Fiber back in stock. Unfortunately when the order arrived I discovered that this first batch of fiber was milled to a finer consistency than it usually is and it's more difficult to dissolve in liquids. The letter that came with the order apologized for this situation and said that it would be a temporary change in the product. Given everything that Heather has had to go through this year in terms of sourcing this product, I feel that the altered consistency is a small sacrifice to have to deal with! I look forward to ordering more Tummy Fiber in the future, and I'm sure by then it will be back to its normal texture.

I recently ordered Heather's Tummy Fiber Travel Packets for a trip. Panic set in when I discovered I had lost the bag I was carrying them in somewhere along the way. I have IBS-D, and Heather's Tummy Fiber stopped my bloating and completely decreased my stomach aches!
I tried other fiber products, but then I came across Heather's tummy fiber so I watched the video about it. Everything the video says is true! Tummy Fiber is a staple for me. I believe it does help to stabilize IBS-C. I put it in my coffee every morning (1-2 tsp) and I might not be correct, but I am able to drink coffee now when I could not in the past. Perhaps the fiber helps! The extra slow delivery was not in the company's control this time and Heather kept me updated on the reasons, which was nice. Everything is usually delivered quickly. I hated to score it as a 1.

I wasn't happy that my account was charged weeks before this product came in. Now that I have my three bags, I really feel that there is something different about the powder. Hi - I'm so sorry for the order delays. The war in Sudan has drastically affected acacia supply chains and availability. Please forgive our temporary Organic Tummy Fiber powder granulation change.

That has also caused problems in that we are not able to get our usual powder granulation.

Normally our acacia Senegal is granulated for us to our specs by the full container load. But that went out the window earlier this year when the acacia Senegal market went into such chaos.

This organic acacia is still the same acacia Senegal as always, same vendors, same product, it will work the same in the gut, it's just spray dried to a more powdery and less granular spec, so it dissolves a little differently.

The different granulation spec/mill size it won't affect its effectiveness at all.

This batch of Tummy Fiber powder will dissolve easily if added directly to moist foods. I've been using it that way and it just disappears.

If you want it in water it will work best in cool, not hot, but follow these steps:

1. Add powder to empty cup, add just enough cool water to liquefy it, stir well.

I've tried other products in the past that taste horrible, have additives, and have a pasty consistency. Heather's Tummy Fiber has is no unpleasant taste or texture and is easy to add to your diet. While I loved the packaging and the tea bags are very nice. I simply cannot adjust to the taste. I have tried several ways and probably since I have hated licorice my entire life I do not think that at this stage in my life of way past 60 that will change. If you like fennel you will love them. They are just not for me.

Used this brand for years
These became hard to find elsewhere and I panicked because these are effective for my IBS. I will just stick to going directly to Heather's. I do suffer greatly from acid reflux and heartburn but these have never made the problem any worse than it already is. I refuse to take PPIs anymore so I use these for general IBS symptoms and use ACV for heartburn. These also helped more than anything during a colitis flare-up.

I have a history of food sensitivities and intolerances, so I've always used stomach support supplements, but they never really worked.
