What a massive gift this is
I've had horrible IBS since i was 15 (am now 40). Alternating constipation and diarrhea. I have tried everything under the sun. Recently I tried the Tummy Fiber acacia fiber combined with loosely following your food list - I have had an amazing run of virtually no symptoms. I will probably always be sensitive and inclined towards symptoms but so far this has been a whole new world. The fiber helps both the c and d where other fibers always aggravated eventually. Anyway this is a short email compared to how much I could gush!!! But I wanted to say thanks for getting the word out there. I've had horrible IBS since i was 15 (am now 40). I am 16 years old and I have been suffereing with IBS for about 4 years now
I have been criticaly ill many times during my life and I am just sending you a big thank you for all the help your site has given me. Suffer no more
I recieved my Tummy fiber about a week and half ago. One spoon full in the morning and one in the evening after work. Something is working wonders here. My cramping and constipation are gone. Really gone. No bloating. Things are moving normally with one or two trips each day. I've eliminated milk, ice cream and hard brans like grape nuts and such. No nuts. I watch the beans like Lima beans and skin my apples before hand. Other than that its Business as usual. My symptoms were pretty severe. The cramping was debilitating. Spasms. Really hurt. Every morning for a few hours and faded as I had bowel movements.If I did. By 10 or 11 I was ok but sore down in my lower stomach, colon area. This stuff probably sounds trivial to some people but for the sufferers its serious. Life altering. Well I just wanted to thank you for this product and the information on your web site. I learned alot. I think I've been needlessly suffering from this problem for years. Thanks. Rip from Pittsburgh

WHAT A WONDERFUL IDEA
I am not very good at expressing myself but I did want to thank you for this site. I have been diagnosed with IBS. Although I truely never beleived that was my problem. I have read a number of accounts on your website along with others. I do not believe I have the same symptoms as these others. However, as I have stated, I have been diagnosed with IBS. I tried several prescription medications, most recently Zelnorm. Although Zelnorm did sort of help, I still never felt 100%. There were times I still had all my symptoms. My symptoms seemed to develop during the night. I would wake up with abdominal cramps/pain, severe headaches and just feeling terrible. I would vomit for hours (among other issues). It got to the point I need prescription medication to try to stop the vomiting. The vomiting was my biggest concern. It could last a couple days. While taking Zelnorm, I would only have these symptoms occassionally, which was at least once a month. Without it, it was once a week. Luckily I work from home. I obtained your web site from my health insurance carrier. A nurse/nutritionist would contact monthly while on Zelnorm to see how I was doing. One time she suggested your site. WHAT A WONDERFUL IDEA SHE HAD!!!!! I first bought your book "Eating For IBS." I followed the suggestions and cooked some of the recipes. I was actually feeling a better. I would only take Zelnorm occassionaly. Then Zelnorm was taken off the market. I didn't know what I was going to do. I purchased Acacia Tummy Fiber and have been using it for a couple months now. I am glad to tell you I feel 99% better. I say 99% because there are times when I do over do it and feel a bit yucky. I can actually eat a salad as a meal. Before even a small salad would send me over the edge. I know other people who have stomach/abdominal issues and I give them your website address and even share my Acacia Tummy Fiber. Thank you very much for you help.

Thank you for giving my life back
Hi; I'm a 53 years-old woman and this is my story. Up to 5 months ago I had been a healthy, once every morning person, untill a sudden, drastic change into a diet of all raw , harsh vegetables that did it. I started having miserable gas and bloatings and constipations so bad even enemas or suppositories didn't do anything, and I had to gouge out pellet like stools with my finger, yuck !!! , but my finger could only reach so far ! My Gastroenterologist was good in quickly diagnosing IBS even before all other tests came out negative,and he was sympathetic saying he'd work with me. But IBS is an every second of every minute of every hour of every day problem and an appointment would take a month, and the most my doctor could offer was stool softener and laxative and an advise of taking fiber supplement, but Metamucil gave me hell ! Untill I miraculously discovered the Heather website , and boy how it saved my life with that soluble Acacia Tummy Fiber. I've also gained tons of educational knowledge on everything IBS. problems have all but disappeared
Your information in IBS has been very helpful to me. I also ordered the Acacia for my aunt who has suffered terribly with IBS (possibly IBD). Since she stared using the Acacia regularly, her problems have all but disappeared. Thank you so much. My aunt has mentioned to me numerous times how well the Acacia worked for her. Her problems were so severe that she was having to take cortisone enemas(!) and they weren't helping. It's funny, because I mentioned to my doctor that I was making some dietary changes to help with my IBS and she told me that research had proven that diet didn't make any difference with IBS. How wrong she was.

I wanted to tell you how happy I am now
I found your website in February - ever since then, I've been reading up on others' experiences, following the diet, trying all your recipes, and taking the Acacia Tummy Fiber every day. I wanted to tell you how happy I am now, in so many ways, in comparison to a year ago! I work as the Production Editor for Alimentary Pharmacology & Therapeutics, a journal from which you regularly feature excerpts in your newsletters. Basically, I receive the hard copy manuscripts and carry them through the production process, until the journal appears on the shelf twice a month. Isn't it interesting, though, that for all the articles I read about IBS, IBD and Crohn's disease every month in my journal, your website is far more practical for a good quality of life for all of us sufferers out there! Maybe some day they'll come up with a miracle pill with no evident side effects - until then, I'll stick to your good advice.

Heather, I rarely write testimonials because most products – health, beauty, fitness, etc – can't deliver on what they claim to. I've had IBS my entire adult life, in varying degrees of intensity and inconvenience. Once constipation and diarrhea were under control, I feel pretty fortunate that my main complaints are stomach/abdominal pain, gas and bloating, worse in the afternoons and evenings. However, even just pain and bloating can be intense and life-impacting at times. Over the years I've tried just about everything I could find including dietary changes and supplements, and you know there are many things out there to try! Some things didn't work at all, some worked for a short time, then the symptoms returned. I was nearly at the "I'll have to live with it" stage when I came upon your website and the Acacia powder and I figured, well, I've tried everything else, and this is inexpensive, so I'll try it. I've been taking Acacia since May. I'm well into my third pouch of it, which I take before breakfast and before dinner, 1 T. in water each time. I had no difficulty ramping up to this dosage slowly, like the instructions direct. I noticed a difference after about two weeks, and frankly was waiting for the symptoms to return after that. But I'm still feeling so much better that I wanted to write and tell you. I rarely have those severe mid-afternoon stomach/bloating pains that used to either send me home or to the private break room so I could lay down at work. (Being horizontal really seems to help but isn't a viable long-term strategy!) Evenings are no longer spent with my heating pad on my tummy. Sometimes I need it, but mostly I don't. I take the acacia along when I travel, and over the past weekend away from home I even missed two pre-dinner doses, but didn't have more than a little bloating. I'll be ordering again soon and will probably be a lifelong customer! Thank you for your website and the research, information and products available for us IBSers. Susan

Tummy Fiber - Truly Amazing
Hello, I don't normally do this, but I just had to write to thank you for the Acacia Fiber. It truly is amazing! I've been taking it for about four weeks now for IBS-M, and am still gradually increasing the dosage. I started to feel better right away, and the fiber, along with some diet changes, has helped me feel "normal" again. While I still have some bad days occasionally (poor dietary choices are to blame), they are much fewer, and the symptoms aren't nearly as bad or long-lasting. I was in very bad shape before taking the fiber. I was beginning to sink into a deep depression from the symptoms, and began to think that life just wasn't ever going to be good again. hi i couldn't find the address for sending my success story so I'm hoping this reaches you. I never had IBS, but have had constipation and diarreha forever. I never had a problem with gas and bloating until I had to have surgery for colon cancer, where they removed part of my upper intestine. Suddenly I had to deal with IBS like symptoms for the first time - unbelievable gas and sometimes accidents. My gastro dr. said to drink a lot of water in the morning and didn't have much more to say. I was using tons of psyllium fiber, which wasn't helping at all. On the advice of a nutritionist I found your site and ordered the Acacia Fiber - which has completely gotten rid of the problem! So that is something you can add to the list - I'm sure many colon cancer surgery survivers are struggling with this terrible seemingly insoluble problem. many thanks a fan in portland, or.

Dear Heather, I just wanted to say that your product, Tummy Fiber, was a God-send to me. I had been having trouble with either diarreah or constipation and it was getting worse...It started out as an annoyance, but became where I never knew when I would get diarreah. Then, of course, constipation, after taking medication for it...It was getting really bad! So, I went online and found your website (after praying about it). I have had NO problems since I have been taking Tummy Fiber. I take half a teaspoon twice a day. It is a MIRACLE for me and I really want to thank you!
