| My experience with the Hypnotherapy for IBS Audio 100 Program is based on over 10 years of living with IBS, reading and learning everything I could about dealing with it. My mental attitude had gone down significantly in the past two years, leaving me with a very negative outlook, and, (like many of you), waking up every day wondering how I could continue to cope with IBS endlessly. So I made the decision to try a different approach… Michael Mahoney's Hypnotherapy for IBS Audio 100 program. Michael Mahoney, creator and narrator of the Hypnotherapy for IBS Audio 100 Program, provides specific instructions for using the program and listening to each session a specific number of times before moving on to the next session. The importance of this was brought home to me, because the recordings are so relaxing that I frequently fell asleep in the middle portion of a session. Mahoney mentions that this is often the case, bur apparently repetitive listening to each session seems to engrave on our subconscious what our conscious mind doesn't pick up when we doze. I am a very "visual" person, which made it easy for me to relate visually as well as mentally to the rather beautiful and comforting descriptions in the sessions. I also became aware of some metaphoric references after listening to a session repeatedly a number of times per the instructions. Mahoney's voice is wonderfully comforting , and the soothing background music accompanying his descriptive commentary enhances the entire program. For ME, this not only immediately gave me a sense of calmness and relaxation, but also provided more positive feelings that replaced my negative thoughts about dealing with IBS. This comfort and confidence in dealing with IBS with positive thoughts has been worth much more than the cost of the program, and I highly recommend it, especially to those who are discouraged and possibly even depressed from dealing with IBS. The "brain-gut link" was definitely working on me, and challenged me to turn my thoughts from a negative process to a positive process over the long term. The hypnotherapy program has been a most positive influence in my dealings with IBS, and I highly recommend giving it a try. | |

| When I called, the staff were just great. I havent started the cds as we are taking a few trips in oct and nov so have it a rating of 4 as am sure they will help but don't know how much. Didn't want to start in case I have to miss sessions when on our trips. I really want the cds to work.the instructions seem a bit confusing but when I start I'm sure I'll figure it out. | |

| These tapes are so relaxing, the music is perfect and his voice is very soothing. It definitely helped calm me and opened up a new way to think. Did it end my Ibs? No, but it helped tremendously. I have less bouts with it. And combined with Heather's products I almost have my life back. I'm going to give it a few more months and do the tapes again just to keep myself on track. I would definitely recommend this product. | |

| I am only a little over 2 weeks into the program. I am on Session 2, and this SO hit home with me, it brought me to tears that someone finally understands and can verbalize what I haven't been able to. So, I'm a "work in progress" because I CANNOT and WILL NOT let this define who I am. Even the CD for family to listen to was very helpful because if people don't see pain on the outside (which I hide well), they don't understand what is going on inside.
